MCA Youth firmly calls on all political parties to refrain from pressuring the Johor state government, led by YAB Dato' Onn Hafiz Ghazi, to form a Unity Government at this time. In a period where the rakyat’s welfare and the state’s growth must take precedence, political manoeuvring should be put aside in favour of unity in action and purpose.
Recent statements by DAP and Amanah leaders, including DAP Johor Vice Chairman Teo Nie Ching and PH Johor Chairman Aminolhuda Hassan, have renewed their calls for a Unity Government in Johor. While cooperation is vital, MCA Youth views such insistence as potentially undermining public confidence in these leaders’ sincerity, particularly after their recent collaboration in the Mahkota by-election.
MCA remains unwavering in its support for the Unity Government at the federal level, without making any demands for positions of power or authority. Our priority is clear: to work hand-in-hand with all stakeholders to uplift the rakyat and ensure that government initiatives have a positive and lasting impact on the people. This focus on the greater good must outweigh the pursuit of political influence or personal agendas.
We are also committed to renewing and empowering MCA, striving to regain the trust of all Malaysians regardless of race, religion, or background. Our mission is to cultivate greater youth engagement and professional participation in the political process, ensuring that fresh perspectives are brought into the party’s vision for the future.
Through a more dynamic, grassroots-focused approach—leveraging social media and modern communication platforms—we aim to communicate our efforts effectively and strengthen our connection with the rakyat.
Our goal is not just to adapt but to lead with integrity, ensuring that MCA is seen as a force for positive change in the country.
